Welcome to Tewantin Medical Centre.
Our medical centre is focussed on excellence in patient care. Our dynamic practice has grown over the past seven years and we are please to have a full complement of skilled doctors and nurses with their own special interests.
Personally, keeping up with the latest in skin and laser technology has seen us grow and open Coastal Skin & Laser where our focus is purely on skin.

Dr. Andrew Spall
Dr Eve Bevan
Dr Eve Bevan has been a GP for over 30 years. She trained at the University of NSW and then worked in Adelaide, country Queensland, as a flying doctor in Western Australia, in Brisbane and the United Kingdom before coming to the northern Sunshine Coast 10 years ago. Initially she worked at Cooroy and for the past 5 years has worked at Tewantin Medical Centre.
Dr Bevan has a special interest in women’s health, gynaecology and oncology, but she enjoys all fields of medicine.
When not at work she runs a farm in the Noosa hinterland.
Dr Cris Lakemond
Dr Cris Lakemond brings over 34 years of General Practice experience to Tewantin Medical Centre. Dr Lakemond spent 19 years practising in South Africa and in 2003 moved to Tin Can Bay and Gympie where he worked as a GP for 9 years.
Dr Lakemond practised in Noosa for 3 years prior to joining Tewantin Medical Centre where he has been for the last 5 years. In conjuction with his General Practice work, Dr Lakemond also works as a surgical assistant on Wednesdays at Noosa Hospital.
He has a special interest in minor surgery and when not at work, you will find him jogging or stand up paddle boarding on the Noosa River.
Dr Nandini Prasad
MBBS BMedSci MStud
Dr Nandini Prasad grew up in Auckland, New Zealand and moved to Australia in 2006. After completing her Bachelor of Medical Science and a Master of Studies in Public Health and Medical Anthropology at The Australian National University in Canberra, Dr Prasad completed her post-graduate medical degree at Bond University, Queensland.
Her initial years were spent at Redcliffe Hospital and The Prince Charles Hospital, including 6 months in heart and lung transplant medicine. Dr Prasad has many areas of interest including mental health, paediatrics, skin and travel medicine.
Outside of work, Dr Prasad has a passion for dancing, traveling and the culinary arts!
Dr Dion McNeice
MBBS M Pharm B Pharm Sci FRACGP GCAD
Dr Dion McNeice grew up in Queensland, studying pharmacy at Griffith University before completing his medical degree at Deakin University.
He moved to the Sunshine Coast with his family in 2015 and has since worked in both hospital and general practice.
Dr McNeice’s special interests include:
- Food Intolerances
- Food Allergies
- Allergy-related conditions (Hayfever/Allergic Rhinitis, Eczema, Asthma, Rashes)
- Weight Management
- Men’s Health
Dr Lawrence Ling
Dr Lawrence Ling was born in Melbourne and studied medicine in North Queensland, spanning over Townsville, Longreach, Atherton and Mackay. He’s also had experience internationally in Singapore with complex GP cases alongside emergency and obstetric work in Fiji. He’s had further training in women’s health in Redcliffe hospital.
Dr Ling has recently finished a intensive rural rotation in Childers providing extended scope of care for patients with multiple complex chronic diseases; where his interests lie, alongside cardiology, diabetes and women’s health.
In his spare time, Dr Ling likes to bake sourdough bread, brew specialty coffee and explore everything culinary.
Suzie Endrey (Psychologist)
Suzie Endrey is a registered psychologist who has worked in the counselling field for 30 years. She has extensive experience in many professional contexts – private and public sector organisations, education, disability, defence, critical incidents, hospitals and medical centres.
Utilising a range of therapeutic interventions and empathic communication, her aim is to assist you with addressing your specific concerns in a constructive and timely manner.
Issues she may be able to assist you with include:
Anxiety, depression, mood issues, anger management, conflict resolution, family concerns, grief, relationship challenges, addicitions, post-traumatic stress, motivation, memory and concentration, goal setting, self-esteem, resilience, bullying, life transitions, post-natal depression, learning challenges including Autism Spectrum Disorder, high functioning learners and slower learners.
Session time is one hour per client.
Hayley has been with Tewantin Medical Centre since its inception in 2013. She particularly enjoys the hands-on medicine in the treatment room and has a special interest in skin medicine.
Hayley lives rurally with her husband and two daughters and enjoys jogging in her spare time.
Kristi graduated from her Bachelor of Nursing at CQUniversity in 2015. She has worked between both General practice and the Aged care sector since then amidst caring for her three young children.
Kristi has a special interest in chronic conditions and mental health and the holistic care and management of these. She is currently studying a Post-Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing.
Laura is the newest addition to our team here at Tewantin Medical Centre. She assists Dr Spall with Automated Total Body Mapping & Dermoscopy, and is also available for cosmetic appointments at our neighbouring clinic Coastal Skin & Laser.
Dee works primarily in the treatment room conducting immunisations, wound care and assisting in excisions.
When not at Tewantin Medical Centre, Dee works at the hospital and is furthering her studies in Nursing.
Medical Practice Assistant
Having previously worked as part of our reception team, Judith is now currently finishing her studies to become a Registered Nurse.
She already holds a Certificate III in Business Administration (Medical) and Certificate IV in Medical Practice Assisting.
Judith is our Laser Tecnician at our partner skin clinic, Coastal Skin & Laser and is available for complimentary consultations.
Practice Manager & Medical Practice Assistant
Harmony joined our reception team in 2017. She has worked in customer service for over 7 years and is currently studying a Diploma in Practice Management.
Harmony grew up on the Sunshine Coast and loves to go to the beach in her spare time.
Kate grew up locally and has worked in General Practice for 20 years.
She joined our reception team in 2020 and loves to get to know our patients and be a part of their healthcare journey.
Kimberley holds a Certificate IV in Business administration and has close to 10 years experience as a scheduling officer working for Disability & Aged Care Support Organisations.
She has a passion for community services and enjoys the hustle and bustle of working in a busy medical practice.
Sam joined our reception team in early 2019. She holds a Bachelor of Law/Arts in Public and International Relations as well as also being admittted as a Legal Practitioner.
Outside of Tewantin Medical Centre, Sam cares for her two sons.
Recently graduated from high school, Ashley is the youngest member of our reception staff.
She grew up in the area and is eager to learn more about the medical industry.
Having previously worked for Tewantin Medical Centre in 2016 – 2017, Lauren rejoins our team in 2020 after spending time abroad and working with Australia’s top film festivals.
Lauren brings a range of skills to the practice from her work in various industries.
