Appointments

At Tewantin Medical Centre, a standard appointment time allocation is 15 minutes. Appointments may be made by phone or online.

Our friendly team of medical receptionists will also do our best to facilitate ‘walk in’ appointments. Please note these appointments may not be with your usual doctor and are triaged according to presentation and need.

 Longer consultations are available by arrangement.  Please let our friendly medical reception staff know at the time of making your booking if you should require an extended appointment.

Examples of consultations that may require extended appointments:

  • New Patient with complex medical condition/s or several concerns
  • Full Medical Check-up
  • Full Skin Cancer Check
  • Surgical Procedure (eg. Removal of skin lesion)
  • Implanon removal / insertion
  • Scuba Diving Medical
  • Pre-employment Medical
  • Health Assessment 
  • Care plan / review

AFTER HOURS
In the event of a Medical Emergency, please phone the Queensland Ambulance Service on 000.
Emergency care is also available at Noosa Hospital. The Noosa Hospital Accident and Emergency department is located at 111 Goodchap Street Noosaville, Ph: 07 5455 9200. 

For non-urgent medical care after 5pm weekdays and after 12pm Saturdays, Tewantin Medical Centre has an agreement in place with 13SICK to provide care and phone advice. Please phone 13SICK (13 74 25) if you require this service.
